"I suffered from psoriasis since the age of 27. I have sought medical treatment in various hospitals throughout Huhhot, Inner Mongolia China, searching for the cure of my disease. The hospitals I visited prescribed drugs commonly used by most psoriasis patients. After using the prescribed medicines from the hospital, there was no much improvement in my condition. My name is Clarence and I have been suffering from guttate psoriasis since 2001 after bad bouts of sore throat and asthma.

When I had my first lesion, which appeared on my leg, I did not know what it was. My subsequent visits to a skin specialist doctor finally provided a diagnosis and I was put on steroid creams. Steroids only helped to control the lesion, it did not provide a cure and this frustrated me a lot. The lesion would disappear after steroid application and re-appear again in a weeks' time.

What was worse is the way it spread. One lesion multiplied to 4 lesions over time and within a span of 3 years, I developed lesions on my back, legs and arms. Although my condition was mild, it nevertheless bothered me and also caused me to worry and wonder how much further it would spread and if my face would be affected as well.

This is my personal testimony.

I am 42 years old Indian, I was a victim of psoriasis and have suffered from the chronic disease since 1994. When I first discovered on my palms some patchy rough growth and beginning to itch, and my condition continue to persist and becoming unbearable. So I decided to visit my family doctor, I was diagnosed that I had contracted psoriasis, he prescribed to me some steroid cream, I used the cream prescribed by him according to his instruction, after the application, it seemed to work quite well, the lesion began to thin down, but after a while it relapsed, new lesions appeared.

My family doctor referred me to a skin specialist, and he prescribed stronger steroid cream and calcipotriene ointment, it does help me of temporally relief on the affected lesions, after a while my condition become uncontrollable. I visited him again, now he prescribed me an oral medication Tigason, my reaction of taking oral medicine I felt tightness of the skin on my face as if a plastic bag has been pulled tightly over my face and I began to gain weight.
